When I was 10, my grandmother gave me a paint set and my love of art was born. I still enjoy painting and working with mixed media.
For several years I focused on making jewelry and made a lot of cards. I still enjoy those but my favorite medium now is fiber art. Currently my specialty is creating 3-dimensional characters and animals using needle felting of wool roving.
My other work includes stitching intricate crazy quilt handwork using velvets, satins and threads to make framed art, pillows/pin cushions and tiny covered boxes.
My art has been sold at Studio 11 in Emporia, Kansas, Magnum Opus in Bonner Springs, Kansas and at Kansas Originals Market, Wilson and Topeka, Kansas.
