All my life I’ve teetered back and forth between the written word and pursuit of art. My college degree is officially Journalism, but I started out as an art major and have always loved drawing, painting and creating. I worked at Hallmark Cards for 21 years, as an editor, as an art director, and sometimes both!
Something for nothing. I get a charge out of creating art from bits and pieces of stuff—little snippets of leftovers that could end up in a junk drawer forever, if not the trash. Creating something with your hands is such a feel-good accomplishment. For me, it’s also a way to wind down and relax—instant stress relief!
Make it Yours. My creations are one of a kind and can be specially made to order. Any letter of the alphabet (including Greek) in any color can be made to fit your room décor, initials, theme, etc. Just let me know what you’re looking for and we'll create it together! Or we can incorporate Grandma’s old brooch or bracelet into a treasured piece of art to display and enjoy.
I am a tea snob, have a fondness for dark chocolate and make frosted sugar cookies that are like tiny works of art.
